You are married to an artist, a genius! We rank his work to that of Michelangelo’s! We say to Tiffanys and Cartier’s, “Eat your heart out! You have nothing to rival this.” Nothing!
Allen watched the driveway all this morning, to heart the sound of FedEx truck’s wheels rolling on the gravel. And when the driver came up the steps with the package, Allen turned to Randy and asked, “Is it alright, can I sign for the box?”
Randy showed Allen how to pull the tab and open the parcel. I was at the office, so they had to telephone me with the initial report. Then Allen drove over to Tracy’s house, to get down on his knees for the formal proposal. (Jeff informs me that Allen will be on his knees from here on out. We will wait until after the wedding to enlighten Allen about this.)
At first when they telephoned me with the report, I had the younger son Alex on the phone with me. Alex described the ring in glowing but precise terms: circular, round, shiny. I was exasperated! Details… I needed details. Allen took the phone and jabbered about Grecian proportions, graduation diamonds, etc.
Allen and Tracy are both stunned, overwhelmed at the designs, the perfect proportions, the artistry. I told Tracy to get used to everyone looking at her hand for a long long time. I don’t think anyone will bother to make eye contact with Tracy for months. All eyes will be on THE RING.

You recently worked with my son, David Cooper, to design an engagement ring for his fiancee, Cynthia. We had the opportunity to see this lovely ring this past week when Cynthia returned to the United States.
You have created a truly beautiful and unusual piece of jewelry. Everyone who saw it on Cynthia’s finger commented on the originality of the design and the sparkling quality of the diamond itself.
